You could consider Active Phone Server as an automatic telephone answering machine. Via the modem it lets you store all the messages your phone receives. Those messages are stored in WAV format.
With Active Phone Server you can also identify the number of each call you get. It also has its own email notifier, that tells you when you`ve received a new one. On the other hand, it also comes equipped with a small reminder agenda.
The Active Phone Server user can record their own voice message for the answering machine (that plays when a call is received), preselect ringtones, etc. If the user wants, they can also specify a blacklist of numbers that the program will ignore when a call is attempted.
